Pay it Forward

The Pay it Forward program offers two ways you can get involved with the GMFF mission.

Mentor.  Our partners can match you with a student in high school or college for whom you can be a mentor.  You’ll coach the student through big questions, like potential careers or smaller questions, like the appropriate attire for their next class presentation.  The time commitment is flexible, we can work with your availability – as little as an hour each month to more.

Sponsor.  Sponsorship involves helping a student pay for school or other educational opportunities.  Many financial aid programs do not cover summer semester, study abroad or support during unpaid internships.  The amount and type of sponsorship is up to you.  All donations are considered charitable contributions and are tax deductible.  100% of your donation goes directly to the student in their university accounts.  To make a donation you can use PayPal or send a check payable to the Goodwin Meissner Family Foundation to 1508 Canterbury Rd, Raleigh NC 27608.  Please note that PayPal charges a 2.9% transaction fee to the foundation.
